WATCH: Ana Kasparian’s Entertaining and Fiery Reaction to Kamala Running for Governor

What’s next for Kamala Harris?

In my opinion, her political career should be winding down, much like Joe Biden’s. After raising over $1.5 billion and squandering it on a poorly executed campaign with a deeply unpopular candidate, what future does she realistically have? Add to that her struggles with coherent public speaking, often reduced to awkward laughter and disjointed statements, and her role in downplaying Joe Biden’s cognitive issues.

Her remarks at the DNC event this past Sunday were simply delusional.

Kamala, you lost—and it wasn’t even close.

Logically, one might think her political career should be over. But this is the Democratic Party we’re talking about.

That’s why there’s already talk of Harris running again in 2028, and she’s currently polling well among Democrats. Of course, that’s in the immediate aftermath of the election. In four years, new contenders will likely emerge.

There’s also speculation about her running for governor of California.

The response to this idea from Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian on The Young Turks podcast was unforgettable. As California residents, they’d be directly impacted by a potential Harris governorship, and Kasparian wasn’t having it—her fiery reaction was nothing short of legendary.

“I think Kamala Harris would probably win in a cakewalk for governor,” Uygur said.

Kasparian couldn’t believe he said it and shouted, “NO! WHAT ARE YOU DOING! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?”

Uygur explained he was “telling [her] the reality,” whether she likes it or not. “Democratic voters in California love to obey.”

Kasparian thought of the horror of it all, “Oh my god. I’m going to move. I’m going to quit my job, I’m going to move.”

Uygur said he wasn’t saying he was in favor of it.

“If the Democrats in California, said ‘we anoint Kamala Harris,”” Uygur said, “a giant percentage of Democrats in California would say, ‘Yes, we obey,’ then he bowed. “We will take the loyalty oath, it doesn’t matter how bad she is,” he finished, mocking CA Democrats. That’s dead on accurate and not just with CA Democrats, but so many Democrats in general.

“This state cannot survive another incompetent Democrat leading it!” Kasparian declared with exasperation. “It just can’t.”

This was truly a great line. “People are egging her on. Apparently, she’s in a wait-and-see mode. Why don’t you wait and see…your way out of public life?” Kasparian asked.

She then told Harris she should go do what everyone else does, work in the public sector or do the “lobbying thing.” She continued, “Whatever it is. But do not run as governor of California. Do not.”

Unfortunately for Kasparian, I think Cenk has a point about California Democrats—they don’t seem to care. They’ll likely vote for Kamala if directed to, regardless of her performance. While Kasparian and Cenk aren’t entirely at odds, he’s simply laying out the political reality.

Interestingly, Kasparian seems to be leaning more red-pilled lately. She’s criticized identity politics and acknowledged that actions like sending illegal immigrants to cities like Chicago opened her eyes to the broader immigration crisis.

One thing is certain: she’s absolutely right about how disastrous a Kamala governorship would be.
