President-elect Donald Trump has revealed his decision to appoint Mark Burnett, the creator of “The Apprentice,” as special envoy to the United Kingdom.
On Saturday, Trump shared the news on Truth Social, highlighting Burnett’s upcoming role.
“It is my great honor to appoint Mark Burnett as the Special Envoy to the United Kingdom,” the President-elect stated. “With a distinguished career in television production and business, Mark brings a unique blend of diplomatic acumen and international recognition to this important role.”

Burnett will focus on strengthening diplomatic ties, with an emphasis on areas of mutual interest such as trade, investment, and cultural exchange.
Beyond creating Trump’s former show “The Apprentice,” Burnett is also known for developing “Shark Tank” and producing popular programs like “Survivor” and “The Martha Stewart Show.”
