Scott Jennings Confronts CNN Anchor Over Elon Musk Criticism, Highlights Biden’s Foreign Dealings

The left continues to criticize Elon Musk, alleging that his influence has bolstered President Donald Trump’s coalition. They aim to sow discord between Musk and Trump, but neither man is taking the bait. Efforts to label Musk as “President Musk”—a tactic pushed by some media outlets—have fallen flat, as it’s clear these narratives are driven by political motives.

In reality, Musk was appointed co-head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) by Trump to streamline government operations, focusing on cutting waste and regulations. Musk’s role is limited and operates under Trump’s approval, making the media’s speculative narratives even more absurd.

Scott Jennings Defends Musk, Shifts Focus to Biden’s Dealings

During Monday’s episode of CNN NewsNight, host Abby Phillip questioned commentator Scott Jennings about Musk’s foreign business ties. Jennings pushed back, redirecting the discussion to Joe Biden’s dealings.

“I have no concerns about Elon Musk,” Jennings said. “I have been looking at pictures of Joe Biden and Hunter Biden meeting with Chinese political leaders lately that we were told didn’t exist.”

Jennings highlighted recent revelations of Biden’s meetings with his son’s Chinese business associates, which contradicted Biden’s previous denials. These photos, released after the election, underscore media reluctance to scrutinize Biden’s potential conflicts of interest.

Jennings pointed out the media’s focus on Musk, who has not been implicated in any wrongdoing, while ignoring significant questions about Biden’s foreign financial dealings. “Where is the investigation from the media into all the money the Bidens got from foreign nationals?” Jennings asked.

Jennings Highlights Musk’s Contributions

Jennings defended Musk, emphasizing that his international ventures benefit the U.S., producing valuable technologies like vehicles and rockets. “The Bidens produced nothing, yet were also ‘doing business in China.’ So I don’t accept this,” Jennings stated.

When Phillip pressed further, Jennings dismissed claims of conflicts involving Musk, noting that his contributions align with U.S. interests. Moreover, DOGE’s unofficial role ensures that any action Musk takes must go through White House oversight, minimizing concerns about conflicts of interest.

Jennings effectively dismantled the narrative, offering a sharp critique of media bias and refocusing attention on accountability for Biden’s actions.
