Liberals Express Outrage After Seeing Woody Harrelson Wearing RFK Jr. Hat: ‘No Longer in My Favor’

Following actress Cheryl Hines’ upload of a photo on X, liberals unleashed harsh comments directed at actor Woody Harrelson. The picture featured him donning a pale blue baseball cap adorned with the inscription “Kennedy 2024.”

“We lost Woody,” mourned “Shark Tank” producer Andrew Kimmel in a post to X viewed more than 12 million times by Friday morning. He included the photo of Ms. Hines and Mr. Harrelson creating controversy.

Mr. Kimmel’s mourning was not the death of the actor who starred in “Cheers” and movies like “White Men Can’t Jump” but his endorsement of presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

Mr. Kennedy has emerged as a symbol for those disenchanted with COVID-19 vaccinations for children and requirements for masks. Additionally, his decision to challenge President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign in 2024 has stirred dissatisfaction among others. In response to the circulated photo, a different X account strongly criticized the actor.

“It’s official,” declared a post from the X account @LisaLiberal. “After his shitty SNL opening monologue about Covid, now this. Woody Harrelson is dead to me.”

Verified X user Angela Belcamino remarked, “Woody Harrelson just canceled himself.”

According to a report by USA Today, Kennedy’s stance on vaccines and COVID-19 has drawn criticism. He has been accused of promoting conspiracy theories that suggest certain ethnic groups are being singled out by the virus.

In addition, he has openly voiced opposition to pandemic lockdowns and has drawn controversial parallels, for which he subsequently expressed remorse.

The response to Mr. Kennedy’s contentious remarks turned acrimonious following his declaration of candidacy for the Democratic Party’s 2024 presidential nomination.

Numerous liberals expressed frustration at his decision to initiate a primary challenge against the sitting President Joe Biden, which would necessitate campaigning and expenditures ahead of the general election.

Certain Democratic voters are concerned that his run for the presidency might undermine President Biden, especially considering the anticipated close competition against former President Donald Trump.

However, it’s worth noting that not all reactions to Harrelson’s endorsement of Kennedy’s cap were unfavorable; a portion of social media users conveyed their support.

“Whatever,” said one X user, “I can’t stay mad @ Woody.”

The X account @letsrunthsjoint gave him a, “That a boy!”

User ScandiScott laughingly remarked that Harrelson can not be cancelled.

” He’s too badass and you know it,” he tweeted. “So is kennedy.”
