Chairman Jim Jordan, leading an inquiry into the J6 Committee’s actions, asserts that the federal government, under Nancy Pelosi’s appointment, unjustly singled out and breached the privacy of conservative individuals. Jordan’s statements align with former President Donald Trump’s belief that Biden’s Department of Justice has been weaponized against conservatives.
He alleges that federal authorities instructed financial institutions to scrutinize records for transactions linked to conservative terms like MAGA, contending that such invasive actions without justification constitute a legal violation.
Allegedly, the federal government surveilled the transactions of 98 institutions.
We now know the federal government flagged terms like “MAGA” and “TRUMP,” to financial institutions if Americans completed transactions using those terms.

What was also flagged? If you bought a religious text, like a BIBLE, or shopped at Bass Pro Shop. pic.twitter.com/jjRaVNItWz
Chairing both the House Judiciary Committee and the Select Subcommittee on Weaponization, Jordan penned a letter outlining the federal government’s alleged unjust identification of terms like “MAGA” and “TRUMP.” According to Fox News, the letter was directed to Noah Bishoff, the former Director of the Office of Stakeholder Integration and Engagement in the Strategic Operations Division of the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).
“…pervasive financial surveillance, carried out in coordination with and at the request of federal law enforcement, into Americans’ private transactionsis alarming and raises serious doubts about FinCEN’s respect for fundamental civil liberties.”

Observers have highlighted significant differences in the treatment of pro-Trump J6 protesters compared to past BLM demonstrators and more recent anti-Supreme Court and pro-Palestinian protestors. Jordan’s disclosures have prompted calls from some quarters to disband FinCEN, citing the need to “save the Republic.”
This is one of the most egregious violations of our Constitution

I can ever recall
The federal government is enlisting financial institutions
To spy on citizens with the sole justification
They are political opponents
