Diaper Manufacturer Supporting Pro-Life Causes Donates Numerous Diapers to Individuals Affected by Maui Wildfires

Following the destructive wildfires that swept through Maui, the diaper company EveryLife, known for its pro-life stance, generously contributed over 40,000 diapers and 60,000 wipes to residents who were impacted by the disaster.

According to a report by Fox News, the initial delivery of these crucial provisions was received on Tuesday.

Michael Seifert, the founder of EveryLife, conveyed his profound sadness regarding the tragedy that struck the historic city of Lahaina.

“We at EveryLife were devastated to hear the news about the disastrous wildfires that destroyed the beautiful, historic city of Lahaina,” said Seifert.

“With both the death toll and the number of displaced community members continuing to rise, our hearts are breaking for the beautiful people of Maui and all of their loved ones.”

In a joint effort, EveryLife partnered with Kings Cathedral, an international church headquartered in Maui, and professional surfer Bethany Hamilton to ensure the distribution of diapers to individuals who had to leave their homes as a result of the wildfires.

Bethany Hamilton shared her deep sorrow about the situation in Maui in a post on X, describing it as “utterly heart-wrenching and beyond imagination.”

“I can’t even imagine loosing everything overnight and how hard the journey forward will be,” Hamilton said in an August 12 X post.

Expressing a sense of privilege, the surfer expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to partner with EveryLife in assisting Maui residents who were impacted by the wildfires.

Playing a pivotal role, King’s Cathedral, a church rooted in Maui, has been a crucial source of shelter and assistance for the families affected by the disaster.

Dr. Jonathan Marocco, the senior pastor on a global scale, conveyed this message through a video available on the church’s website.

“We became a refuge for over 200 people that came to the church, and had no place to go,” said King’s Cathedral’s Global Pastor Dr. Jonathan Marocco said.

“We fed and helped and found places for them to sleep, and we’re thankful we’re here.” he said, with a request for prayers on behalf of Maui’s residents.

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in time of need.” Marocco added. “This is a time of need.”

Based in Encinitas, California, EveryLife operates a program called “Purchase with Purpose,” enabling individuals to buy a “diaper bundle” that is subsequently donated to charitable causes.

“During the month of August, each ‘Buy for a Cause’ diaper bundle will be donated directly to families in urgent need of these essential items following the devastating impact of the Hawaiian wildfires,” Siefert said.

Island residents were contacted by King’s Cathedral to reassure them that assistance is within reach.

“In the wake of the devastating wildfires that have affected our beautiful island, King’s Cathedral is stepping up to offer a helping hand,” the church stated on its website.

“If you and your family have been affected by the wildfires, know that you’re not alone. King’s is extending a heartfelt invitation to all wildfire-affected families, providing assistance with essentials like clothing, food, and shelter.”
