Former President Donald Trump’s campaign is cautioning the pro-life community not to abstain from voting on Florida’s Amendment 4, which seeks to secure abortion access statewide.
Corey Lewandowski, a campaign adviser to Trump, stated that pro-lifers who choose not to vote on Amendment 4 due to dissatisfaction with Trump’s position on the matter are effectively supporting Vice President Kamala Harris’s “extreme stance on abortion.”

Lewandowski appeared on Fox News, where he addressed pro-life conservative commentator Lila Rose’s remarks about Trump’s position on Amendment 4.
In a recent interview with Politico, Rose criticized Trump’s stance as “foolish” and suggested that it could alienate his supporters.
“I think it’s very foolish what he’s doing,” Rose said.
“It’s politically unwise, it may cost him the election, and it’s morally unprincipled as well. Right now, it’s all about turnout. If he wants to galvanize his base, he needs to stop trying to pander to Kamala Harris’ base, because they’re never going to vote for him anyway,” she added.
According to Fox News, Trump has voiced his opposition to banning abortion medication by mail through government action.
However, as previously reported by Resist the Mainstream, the former president has promised to require the government or insurance companies to cover the full cost of in vitro fertilization (IVF).
“I’m announcing today in a major statement that under the Trump administration, your government will pay for, or your insurance company will be mandated to pay for, all costs associated with IVF treatment, fertilization for women,” Trump said on Thursday during a campaign rally in Michigan.
“Because we want more babies, to put it very nicely, and for this same reason, we will also allow new parents to deduct major newborn expenses from their taxes,” he added.
On Fox News, Lewandowski addressed Rose’s comments, stating that if she decided not to vote on Amendment 4, she would be endorsing Harris’s abortion policies.
“If she chooses to stay home, then by, you know, tacit endorsement, she’s supporting Kamala Harris, who has had a radical position on the issue of abortion,” Lewandowski said.
“Many Democrats believe that you can have an abortion not only up until the last week, but also in some cases after the baby’s been born,” he pointed out.
“What Donald Trump has said was, let’s have the states decide — they are the laboratories of democracy. Let’s turn this back. And that’s what Roe v. Wade really did. And so we see across this country right now opportunities for individuals to go and vote at the ballot box of what they want to see transpire in their state,” Lewandowski added.
“And every state is going to look a little different,” he continued, pointing out that some red states have enacted laws on abortion that still provide women with “opportunities.”
“We have seen some relatively or very conservatives states go to a position where women are given opportunities that you would not have expected because of that,” he said.
