Brittany Mahomes Supports Trump Again, Igniting Social Media Firestorm

Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, has sparked a political debate on social media.

The mother of two, who is expecting her third child, has caused a stir on Instagram with her apparent support for the Republican Party and former President Donald Trump.

Her latest Instagram activity has generated significant buzz online. According to the Daily Mail, while promoting Chiefs merchandise for the upcoming NFL season, she liked a comment reading “TRUMP-VANCE 2024,” which seems to endorse Trump’s potential re-election campaign.

This move comes after she previously endorsed a Trump post about the upcoming November election.

“’I mean honestly, to be a hater as an adult you have to have some deep rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood,’ Mahomes posted on her Instagram story following that swarming controversy from earlier this week.

The NFL WAG’s political leanings have not gone unnoticed by her followers.

One supportive comment Mahomes liked read, “Glad to see you’re standing your ground. We all have the right to our own opinions and shouldn’t be bullied into silence.”

However, her posts have also faced backlash from Democratic supporters, who have voiced their hopes for a Kamala Harris win or anticipated a “blue landslide” in the upcoming election.

The Daily Mail reported that, in reaction to the backlash, Mahomes shared a message from preacher and author Shane Pruitt, which seemed to address the controversy.

The post read, “Contrary to the tone of the world today… You can disagree with someone, and still love them. You can have differing views, and still be kind.”

Mahomes’ political stance has raised questions about her relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift, who is dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

The two couples were spotted together over the weekend after Swift’s return from a four-month European tour.

However, Swift’s political views appear to differ from Mahomes’.

The singer publicly endorsed Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election and has been critical of Trump’s presidency, according to the Daily Mail.

The outlet also pointed out that, unlike his wife’s apparent political involvement, Patrick Mahomes has remained neutral.

In a TIME magazine interview, he remarked, “I don’t want to pressure anyone to vote for a specific president. I want people to use their voice and choose based on their own research.”

The Chiefs have accepted invitations from President Biden to visit the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl victories in 2023 and 2024.

However, their planned visit after their 2020 Super Bowl win during the Trump administration was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As the NFL season begins, attention will turn to Arrowhead Stadium next Thursday when the Chiefs play the Baltimore Ravens.

Both Brittany Mahomes and Swift are anticipated to attend, potentially highlighting their differing political views once more.
