On Thursday, President Joe Biden addressed a Christmas message from former President Donald Trump. Trump, sharing his views on Truth Social, strongly condemned various groups and individuals, including political adversaries and global leaders, alleging their efforts to undermine the United States.
“Merry Christmas to all, including Crooked Joe Biden’s ONLY HOPE, Deranged Jack Smith, the out of control Lunatic who just hired outside attorneys, fresh from the SWAMP (unprecedented!), to help him with his poorly executed WITCH HUNT against ‘TRUMP’ and ‘MAGA,’” Trump wrote.“Included also are World Leaders, both good and bad, but none of which are as evil and “sick” as the THUGS we have inside our Country who, with their Open Borders, INFLATION, Afghanistan Surrender, Green New Scam, High Taxes, No Energy Independence, Woke Military, Russia/Ukraine, Israel/Iran, All Electric Car Lunacy, and so much more, are looking to destroy our once great USA. MAY THEY ROT IN HELL. AGAIN, MERRY CHRISTMAS!”
Biden’s reaction to Trump’s message took a notably different tone, citing a biblical passage that promotes love and forgiveness toward one’s adversaries.
“There’s an expression they say in church sometimes: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you,” Biden said on X.

Primary polling signals a potential 2024 rematch between Biden and Trump, as both previous nominees lead their party primaries by substantial margins. Recent polls show Trump holding a slight advantage over Biden in the general election, with a Real Clear Politics average putting Trump at 46.8% and Biden at 44.5%.
This trend is echoed in crucial battleground states, with a Morning Consult/Bloomberg survey indicating Trump leading in Arizona, Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Nevada, and North Carolina.
