Biden and Harris’s Remarks in Hurricane Zone Spark Questions and Outrage, Elon Dismantles Them in Tweet

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris visited North Carolina and Georgia on Wednesday to assess the damage from Hurricane Helene.

However, amid the widespread devastation, Harris’s comments fell notably short. Similar to Biden’s promise of $700 in Maui following the devastating fire, Harris offered a meager $750 to those who may have lost everything.

If you lost your home, that amount would hardly cover a few days in a hotel and food for a family. And you can apply for it online, she noted—assuming you had power.

Many reacted to Harris’s remarks, questioning how much money has been allocated to Ukraine or for various services for undocumented immigrants. In comparison, $750 seems insignificant.

Meanwhile, Biden, often seen as an absent leader, was in North Carolina. Observe how slowly he takes his seat while everyone else around him is moving at a normal pace.

It was disgraceful for him to use the hurricane as an opportunity to criticize any American who doesn’t adhere to his climate change agenda.

He should focus on assisting people rather than promoting his political agenda. It’s hard to imagine Biden calling anyone else “braindead.” Notably, this is the same rhetoric he uses after every hurricane.

Then Biden made another bold statement, discussing the deployment of Starlink systems to improve communication in the affected areas.

Elon Musk stated that Biden’s FCC canceled the SpaceX Starlink award, which means the systems could have already been in place to provide assistance.

What about the $42 billion allocated for the broadband initiative to assist rural areas? The Biden-Harris administration hasn’t made any connections yet.

Trump highlighted the urgent need to Elon Musk, who responded that they were deploying more systems to areas in need.

Ivanka Trump was one of the individuals assisting in providing some of the systems.

Kudos to Trump, Elon Musk, Ivanka, and others for coming together to support those in need.
