Tom Homan Urges Democrats to ‘Stay Out of the Way’ Regarding Deportations

Tom Homan and former President Donald Trump have emphasized their intent to prioritize the removal of illegal immigrants from the United States.

Homan, who will serve as President-elect Donald Trump’s border czar, stated in an interview this week that the new administration intends to close the border to regain control over what he described as chaos stemming from President Joe Biden’s policies.

During an appearance on Newsmax on Thursday evening, Homan outlined the administration’s goals after taking office next week, highlighting their focus on removing dangerous individuals.

“We’re going to concentrate on public safety threats and national security threats right out of the gate,” Homan explained. “That’s our priority. We’re going to go for the worst first. And I find it hard to believe any elected official doesn’t want public safety threats out of their communities.”

He further stressed the importance of community protection, saying, “I would think that’s your number one responsibility — protecting the communities. But they don’t want help. That’s fine. Just stay out of the way, and we will do it.”

Homan warned that Democrats attempting to hinder law enforcement efforts to deport illegal immigrants would face legal consequences.

“They can’t cross the line of actively impeding us, preventing them from doing their job,” he said. “They can’t knowingly harbor or conceal an illegal alien because that is also a felony. So don’t cross the line. You can sit back and let us do the job — it’s going to be less efficient, it will be more dangerous without their assistance, but we’re going to do the job regardless.”
