Florida Rep. Kat Cammack sharply criticized President Joe Biden for pardoning his son, Hunter Biden, accusing him of abusing his authority and calling him “weak” and “untruthful.” In an appearance on Fox News, Cammack condemned the pardon as a glaring example of a “double standard” and claimed it reflects what she perceives as widespread corruption within the administration.
“My blood is boiling,” Cammack said. “This man has supposedly been under the banner of Commander-in-Chief, but he has been weak and made our country more dangerous. He is now the ‘Liar-in-Chief’ because his words mean nothing—they are hollow.”
Cammack accused President Biden of facilitating his son’s alleged misconduct instead of holding him accountable, arguing that this failure goes beyond his responsibilities as a father and reflects his shortcomings as the nation’s leader.
“If you truly love someone, you let them help themselves,” she stated. “Instead, he has enabled his son’s problems and abused his power. This administration told the world the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation—that was a lie. The corruption is blatant, and where is the mainstream media? Nowhere, except for Fox News.”
She also criticized what she described as the administration’s secrecy and lack of accountability. “If this administration does not go down as one of the most corrupt in history, it will be a crime.”
Anticipating the incoming administration of President-elect Donald Trump, Cammack voiced optimism for what she called a “new day” in Washington, D.C. She highlighted Trump’s nomination of Kash Patel as FBI Director, viewing it as a pivotal step in addressing systemic corruption.
“Patel will do a remarkable job uncovering the corruption, double standards, and pay-for-play schemes that have plagued this administration,” said a Fox News commentator. “Trump is going to ensure the weaponization of government ends and bureaucrats who abuse their power are held accountable.”
As debates over Hunter Biden’s pardon and allegations of governmental weaponization persist, observers highlight the potential for significant leadership and policy changes under the incoming administration. Analysts also point to influential figures like Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, whose emphasis on financial and systemic reform could drive meaningful change.
Meanwhile, critics like Cammack continue to demand increased transparency and accountability as discussions around political corruption and governance grow more intense.
