Kamala Harris Lags Behind Donald Trump in Three New Major Polls

Vice President Kamala Harris trails Donald Trump significantly in three new major polls.

According to the New York Post, many GOP insiders are almost ready to proclaim victory.

The latest NBC News poll indicates that Harris has dropped six percentage points in just one month, giving Trump a one-point edge among registered voters, with Trump at 47 percent and Harris at 46 percent.

Last month, Harris had 47 percent compared to Trump’s 41 percent in the same NBC News poll, as reported by The New York Post.

An ABC News/Ipsos poll also revealed Trump gaining traction with voters, although Harris still led 50 percent to Trump’s 48 percent, down from a six-point advantage a month earlier.

Meanwhile, a CBS News/YouGov poll found Harris ahead of Trump 51 percent to 48 percent, a slight decline from the previous month.

Additionally, RealClearPolitics shows Harris’ lead shrinking rapidly to just 1.4 percent over Trump, down from 2.2 points less than a day ago, according to The New York Post.

While Harris has seen a significant drop in recent polls, Trump is performing well in the RCP no-tossup map of swing states.

These polling results suggest troubling news for Harris and her presidential campaign. Experts believe she needs a five to six-point national lead to secure a win on Election Day, given the Republican Party’s advantage in the electoral college.

Before these new polls, Democrats had shared internal data indicating that Harris was losing in key states like Wisconsin and Michigan, which are crucial for her chances in the upcoming election.

Political journalist Mark Halperin said last week on 2WAY’s “Morning Meeting, “There are lots of Republicans — I say lots — a not insignificant number of Republicans, who say the race is effectively over. There are a lot of really worried Democrats and there are really no worried Republicans, including at Mar-a-Lago.”

The latest NBC News poll shows that Harris has a favorability rating of just 43 percent, while 49 percent view her unfavorably, according to The New York Post.

Harris’ polling figures are also significantly lower than Trump’s on key issues such as the economy, inflation, immigration, and handling the Middle East conflict. Trump leads Harris 46 percent to 38 percent on the economy, 44 percent to 37 percent on inflation, 46 percent to 36 percent on immigration, and 42 percent to 34 percent regarding the Middle East situation.

The only areas where Harris maintains an advantage are abortion, support for the middle class, and protecting democracy, leading Trump 47 percent to 32 percent, 42 percent to 32 percent, and 44 percent to 38 percent, respectively.

Harris is currently in North Carolina for a Sunday rally, aiming to win over voters in this critical battleground state ahead of the election on November 5.
